The essential oil of Salvia Sclarea is extracted by steam distillation of the flowering tops and leaves of Salvia sclarea. It originates from southern Europe and is cultivated for its oil in France and Russia. The biggest benefit of this oil is its calming influence on the nerves and is particularly useful for female ailments and ailments. It is also said to help skin problems such as acne, foruncles and ulcers and relieve painful muscles and joints.
